This is probably the easiest mashed potato recipe you will ever find. It practically cooks itself.
Cooking time: 30 min Serves: 8
1.3 kg of potatoes, peeled and quartered
6 Tsp SUNSHINE D ORIGINAL MARGARINE
1/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp salt
Pinch of pepper
· Add the potatoes to a pot pour in enough cold water to cover them all. Bring to boil on a high heat. Reduce heat and allow to simmer for 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
· Beat the potatoes, with the SUNSHINE D ORIGINAL MARGARINE, milk, salt and pepper, using a potato masher until smooth and creamy.
Keep it simple when it comes to mashed potatoes. That’s because this traditional side dish works so well with a host of savoury meals, like stew, sausages or potjie.
If you do want to make your mashed potatoes a little fancier, you could add a dash of cream for extra rich creamy flavour.
