Lamb chop recipes will always be on the top of any South African’s favourite food list. So, don’t be boring – spice up your next lamb chop meal with this delicious marinade that’s suitable for the grill or the braai.
It is simply a matter of mixing it all together and allowing the lamb chops to soak up all the flavour. You can substitute the oregano for rosemary – it’s your choice.

1 Tsp SUNSHINE D ORIGINAL MARGARINE
1/2 Tsp lemon zest
2 Tsp lemon juice
2 Tsp fresh oregano chopped
2 Tsp garlic minced
1/2 Tsp salt
Pinch of pepper
8 lamb chops (trimmed of fat)
Melt the SUNSHINE D ORIGINAL MARGARINE over a low heat and add the lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix well. Pour into a sealable container and add the lamb chops. Seal the container and allow to marinate for 1 hour. Grill or braai the chop for about 4 minutes per side (medium rare).
