Dwyane Wade opened up about supporting his son at Miami Pride Parade. In an interview with Variety, the star explained that he was doing his duty as a father.
He shared in part: “I think as a family, we just support each other. That’s our job and my job as a father is to facilitate their lives and to support them. And to be them in whatever they want to do.”
He expressed that in the same way he supports his eldest son, Zaire in his aspirations to become a basketball player, he does the same for Zion. He said: “He’s a writer, he has an unbelievable mind. An imaginary mind. He’s a reader. So, its the same thing for me, it doesn’t change. What my role is as a father, what role is as a parent. My role is to support my kids and love my kids.”
