Parliament’s public accounts committee (Scopa) is meeting with Eskom management at the Medupi power station in Lephalale, Limpopo. The committee members are conducting an oversight at the multi billion rand power station.
The completion of the coal fired power station has been affected by amongst others, concerns about poor design and budget overruns which have escalated to over R300 billion. The committee members will on Wednesday conduct an oversight role at Kusile power station in Mpumalanga.
